New Port at Victory is a 500-acre mixed-use development that promises to generate millions of dollars for the community, as well as create thousands of new jobs. The reinvention of this historic shopping district includes the Victory Shopping Center and the renovated Curtis Strange-designed 18-hole Bide-A-Wee Golf Course. The rebirth of the area also includes the addition of the Portsmouth Campus of Tidewater Community College, the Victory Business Park and the renovation of Victory Elementary School.
